Are you a bold woman entrepreneur using technology to drive change? Do you dream of scaling your tech or tech-enabled business and making a real impact in your community? This is your moment. The Futuremakers Women in Tech (WiT) Uganda Program 2025 is officially open for applications — and it’s your chance to access up to $10,000 in catalytic grant funding to accelerate your business growth and amplify your impact.
About the Opportunity
Funded by the Standard Chartered Foundation, in collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank, Village Capital, and The Innovation Village, and implemented by Future Lab, this transformative initiative empowers women-led businesses in Uganda’s tech ecosystem.
This isn't just an accelerator — it's a movement. The WiT program equips women with business training, mentorship, and seed funding, creating a powerful ecosystem of innovation, resilience, and economic inclusion.
Why Women in Tech
Women are still underrepresented in technology entrepreneurship — and the WiT Uganda Program is here to rewrite that story by:
✅ Providing investment readiness training and technical assistance
✅ Building financial literacy, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills
✅ Connecting businesses to market linkages and growth strategies
✅ Awarding $10,000 grants to the most promising ventures
✅ Establishing a Community of Practice (CoP) for long-term mentorship and peer learning
Through this program, we’re not just investing in businesses — we’re investing in the future of Africa’s digital economy.
Why Apply?
This is more than a program — it's your launchpad. As a participant, you’ll benefit from:

Access to networks, markets, and strategic partnerships
