Judicial Service Commission Announces 100 Court Clerk/Interpreter Positions
As a Court Clerk/Interpreter, the successful candidates will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the courts. Reporting directly to their immediate supervisors, the selected individuals will be responsible for the following:
Registering Cases: Ensuring that all legal cases are properly documented and recorded within the court's systems.
Opening Case Files: Creating and maintaining accurate and organized case files for each registered case.
Interpreting Court Proceedings: Providing interpretation services during court sessions, ensuring that all parties fully understand the proceedings.
Maintaining and Updating Case Files: Regularly updating case files with the latest developments, ensuring that all information is current and easily accessible.
Performing Additional Duties: Undertaking any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency of the court.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for these positions:
Educational Requirements: Ugandans holding a Diploma in Law from an accredited university or institution are eligible to apply.
Digital Skills: Candidates must possess demonstrable digital skills, which are essential for managing modern court systems and processes.

No Higher Qualifications: Applicants with higher academic qualifications than those specified will not be considered.
